AT&T Samsung Galaxy S5 Pricing Revealed, Affordable

This morning, AT&T released the Samsung Galaxy S5 will be available to pre-order starting March 21 with shipping to begin in April. The highly anticipated flagship smartphone to the AT&T family is packed full of new tech and a similar design. The S5 includes a professional quality 16MP camera with fast focus and a bold 5.1” HD display and a more grippable and waterproof (water resistant), design that distinguishes it from its familiar predecessors in various new colors.

AT&T has offered up a variety of different pricing solutions for those who don’t want to cough up the near $700 retail price. The cheapest offer, AT&T Next 18, is a plan that lets you update your phone every 18 months, starting as low as $25 per month. Next in line comes AT&T Next 12 coming in just over 30 bucks at $32.50 per month. For those who take the more traditional route of a two-year contract, you are looking at an overall payment of $199.99 with the start of a new contract.

The first of two big changes to the S5 from its predecessors being S Health; a newly integrated system that tracks fitness and nutrition and includes the worlds first hear rate sensor in a smartphone for health junkies.

The second being and a built in fingerprint sensor, much like the iPhone 5s, to provide an extra layer of security. This imitation of the iPhone software, released earlier this year, allows users to press their thumb directly onto the screen as opposed to a home button and the ability to swipe down with your fingertip.
