This morning NASA launched the Atlas 5 rocket into space from Cape Canaveral, Florida. The flight was initially slated for March but delayed due to issues of hydraulics and ground equipment. Weather conditions were perfect for the launch, and NASA broadcast the event on its NASA TV media channel. The mission will deliver cargo to the International Space Station (ISS). The actual spacecraft has been named the S.S. John Glenn, the late astronaut known for being the first American (and later, oldest) to orbit the Earth.

Data is the bargaining chip of cellular networks this week, as two of the top networks in the country announced unlimited data plans to smartphone customers. AT&T and Verizon have joined others, including Sprint and T-Mobile, with interesting price comparisons.

The DoubleFlex Black, invented by Paul Francis and created by Oyo Fitness, intends to replace flimsy bungee cords and those room-filling total body gyms with a tension-based exercise machine you can take anywhere. Using “Spiraflex” tension technology, the DoubleFlex Black is an exercise tool that uses resistance via steel cables, which allows more fluid movement than rubber bands. In fact, the same technology is used on the International Space Station to keep astronauts fit.
